Your Sir theory reminded me of this one time when THH came out in my country and, you know how the Ex Libris page has a preview of Olaf/the Baudelaires’ disguise in the book? Well, before I read the book proper, I was VERY puzzled by the face-shaped intercom box and thought that, somehow, Olaf was gonna turn into…..a robot. Really. It looked like one! Tell me I’m wrong!! (Don’t, please.)
